Cure for red wine stains...
In our house, we like red wine. We also love hosting dinner parties for our friends, who like red wine. But nothing kills a party faster than a red-wine spill on someone’s nice clothes. The culprit always feels terrible! And then you have the stain. Recently, we heard about how pouring some regular salt on a red-wine stain immediately after a spill will lift a stain right out. We tried it last week and found it works like magic. After spilling red wine on a friend’s blue sweater, we poured salt all over the affected area, rubbed gently and allowed the salt to absorb the stain. Then we washed the sweater normally. Gone was the stain and the sweater was as good as new!
