Luck o' the Irish ...

St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner and although the luck o’ the Irish may have saved Ireland from being overrun with snakes, according to legend, it didn’t save St. Patrick from being sold into slavery. St. Paddy was actually born in Kilpatrick, Scotland, where he lived until age 16. The Gaels then kidnapped the patron saint and took him to Ireland, where he was sold as a slave. Cheers to his freedom and the annual excuse to dye our beer Irish green for a night!
