China to limit cell phone waste...

Everybody has a cell phone, but here’s a statistic for you: In China, according to the country’s Ministry of Information Industry, nearly 100 million cell phones are replaced each year. That’s a lot of cell phones. Now China will demand that all cell phones designed after June 14 of this year have a prescribed universal charger interface. The idea is to reduce the number of chargers thrown away when cell phones are upgraded. How this move will affect the U.S. market is unclear. We’ll keep you posted!
