Secret to improving posture...
I have always had trouble with my posture. Although I try to exercise and do yoga every day, nothing seems to help me stand up straighter. Then one day a friend told me her secret. At night, she stands against the wall and rolls tennis balls under the arches of her feet. This allows her arches to better support her body and puts her spine back in balance, she told me, improving her posture and making her feel taller. I did a little research and found rolling tennis balls under your arches also helps to relieve plantar fasciitis, a condition in which the Achilles tendon becomes shorter or strained, especially when a woman wears high heels frequently. The American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine recommends massaging the foot with tennis balls or golf balls to relieve the pain associated with this condition.
