I know my mom has a favorite in our family. It’s our family dog, Shadow. We got him at the pound about 16 years ago, and he is definitely an integral part of the family. He is a beautiful and friendly husky.
I was talking to a friend about a pet that had gotten sick, and she mentioned how steep the veterinary bills are when a pet falls ill. I did a little online research online and found some companies that specialize in health insurance for all types of pets. One of the premiere companies appears to be Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI), which calls itself “the nation’s oldest and largest provider of pet health insurance.”
