Healing Touch
Hum to ward off sinus problems ...

If you’re still suffering from allergies and continue to have a stuffy nose, here’s a hint from a friend of ours: hum! Forget singing, hum.
A quick Internet search turns up a study done at the Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden, and reported in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, that found humming may reduce your risk of a sinus infection. Apparently, humming helps the flow of air through your sinus passages and improves output of nitric oxide, which allows blood vessels relax and therefore reduces swelling in your nose.
